Festival co-directors Eliza Millett and Sebastian Black unite in this exciting tour exploring the eclectic mix of music for cello and piano. Featuring extraordinary staples of the repertoire by Schumann and Janáček, and more unfamiliar gems, this promises to a recital not to miss!
The recital will last just under an hour, and the pieces will be briefly introduced before they're played. There is a huge range of musical styles in the programme: from the child-like fantasy of Janáček's Romanticism to the full-on exuberance of Xenakis's constructivism.
